I have known Karysa for several years now. We actually used to work together when I used to be in the x-ray field. She has been such a supporter in my business since the very beginning. She trusted me to take photos of her and Eric when I was first starting out and then continued to book me as her wedding photographer.

When scheduling their engagement session, we talked about doing something formal in downtown Indianapolis. I am very familiar with this setting and we started brainstorming. Karysa really liked some of my past sessions around the Bottleworks Hotel area on Massachusetts Avenue. The weather was predicted to be rainy with a ton of wind. Lucky for us, the rain stopped and the wind died down enough for us to make it through our session!

While the wind kept our romantic and dreamy vibes alive, Karysa + Erics undeniable connection kept the session light and fun! They were such an absolute blast to work with. They knew what they wanted but they were also willing to go with the flow.

We may or may not have climbed upon one of those cart carouls…. It was all for the picture, okay?

To end the night we grabbed a few drinks at the Pins Mechanical Co and played some games. It was important to karysa and eric that we had fun and really just let them enjoy the night.
